What is actually more important to you, what’s good, or what seems good?  We all love appearances, that is reflected in our records.  Perfect attendance, criminal records, credit ratings, various test scores, driving abilities… blah, blah, blah, but the actual understanding of what these things are supposed to be measuring should not be lost striving for score.  The fact that this goes clear over our heads is everywhere that perceived winning is valued over how you actually play the game, and the “tests” we all take become an obstacle to what actually is the very real point of the tests in the first place, quality of human spirit.
