It’s that time of year, they’re running,  and that’s when

the really big suckers come up for air.  You need a

really strong line and good bait for those deep monsters,

or go to a store and get a twenty some pounder.

The wheels on the bus went round and round, there

was no blue wave and no red wave, but the surf is up

on the sea of red ink.  No mandate to investigate, or

impeach, or to smear anybody in either. There was

the usual ton of political commercials and robo-calls,

Barack Obama did call (twice) and leave a message.

Not that I’m complaining, prolly wouldn’t help anyway.

The outrage is all (the) rage, with the reality of hopeless anger everywhere.

Masquerading as righteousness (trick or treat), outrage is

quite a surprise when sparks of violence become flames of war,

and everyone wonders which way did they go.  But go

ahead – are you an us or a them?

Ok,  if there’s no evidence that Jesus Christ ever lived,

because there’s no body or any other material proof,

then whose is all that profound brilliance anyway?
