Trolls r us

The title does not refer to the recent revival of that little doll, or the imaginary

critter that supposedly lives under a bridge and demands a toll, but the spirit in

people that seems to take pleasure in causing pain in others.  The discriminating

troll tries to disguise that as constructive critterism, yet often gleefully ( in a single

word) will devastate a lifetime of effort, or the less discriminating will attempt

simply to find fault in something.  The result is the same, creating the illusion of

lack; that something is wrong or missing, and the implication is that is somehow a

contribution.  Improvement by contempt is usually the only finding, the only real

effort is creating a flaw whether there is one or not, even if it is just “ I don’t like

that.”  No real discernment, just the expression of negative impression.

We don’t necessarily know why we don’t, but we know we don’t, and a troll won’t

have any problem at all saying that.

draining the swamp

Draining my personal swamp

Sounds good, right?  Hopefully, that’s not just parrotese for the shuffling of career

bureaucrats from dem to repub.  This time is differnt, cause no politico is gonna pee

on ya then tell you it’s raining, trust me.  America loves jingles,  so remember the

Maine (ship), remember Pearl Harbor, remember 911.  This isn’t your kinder,

gentler jingle, your hope and change jingle, or the “if you like your doctor you can

keep your doctor” jingle, this is a jingle you can believe in.  It’s not like we ever

fooled ourselves before, playing or getting played believing there’s a magic wand

somewhere gonna make America great again. This time is for real, really real real,

it’s not like anybody’s blowing smoke.   This time is abstitutely full of it

(potential), before wordplay and deeds go their  own ways, and in the words of a

famous Yale man; “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice…  we’ll never be

fooled again!” .  Faulty perception leads to faulty assumptions, bringing us to faulty

conclusions, and we’ll see what we want to see in the 2,3,4, or 5 word jingle.

cognitive dissonance: the trauma of election gullibility

Both main political candidates used bullshit on the gullible electorate, we are all

easily lead around by what we want to believe is the truth, promises are always

swallowed if we think they are right.  What ever gets you through the night,

swallowed, voted, the righteousness of our righteous  has spoken, nothing left but

for the electrical college to sing.  Better?!

Over at least, nothing left but the outrageous unreasonable expectations that left

the bad taste (metaphor).   Nobody can be right till someone is wrong, fault will

continue to be found in the other guy, the herd can resume it’s favorite pastime of

eat, shit, and party.  What could go wrong, and what if it did?

Gee, what could possibly be the consequences of believing multiple conflicting

beliefs?  Stronger together, we’re gonna make America great (again)!
