Idiocracy at work

The more things change, the more they don’t.  I’ve personally seen enough of

political bullshit, candidates, conventions, parties, tv ads et cetera ad nauseum to

make an informed choice already.  I surrender, why prolong the agony to November

when I can start supporting the roadrunner now.  That’s right, gonna send

em a check, he’s gotta have a nest somewhere.

Outta the mouth of morons

The whole world sees itself as outrageously righteous, and I am no exception.  From

the most foolish of us to the most wise, pretty much to a person we are all sure

we’re right, even when facts prove we aren’t.  It is a rarity to even consider that

there could be another way and it could be the right one, especially when that other

way ain’t yours.  Never, ever is the devil given his due, just doesn’t happen

now-a-days, but I am gonna try, even if fatal.  At the memorial for the slain Dallas

police officers, former president Dubya gave an excellent speech.  Known more for

his Bush-isms and unfound WMD’s in Iraq, at least one line in said speech I

thought was extremely remarkable and I quote:

“Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples, while judging ourselves by our

best intentions. And this has strained our bonds of understanding and common

purpose.”

Easily one of the most intelligent things any of us morons have ever said.

I am, therefore I think.

Variety is the spice of life

Whether food, or religion, cars, phones, planes, collectables,  what ever it is that floats your boat, the reality is there is a lot of choices.  There is a variety in almost every thing one can think of, so much so that we have become so accustomed we take it for granted.  It certainly isn’t just a feature of mankind, nature is so varied in species be it trees, flowers, grasses, people, animals, rocks, etc., it would take a book.  Even then I couldn’t list everything, there’s too many, yet all is in all.

Yup, everything fits in one universe, which is so damn big even the best telescope can’t see any end.  There may be an endless number of those, but the fact we can’t even see an end to this one should make us all pretty small.  Like atom size only smaller.

Full spectrum arrogance

As a country, we have become pretty damn conceited. Our reasoning isn’t the best, our vanity doesn’t rule the world, but we sure like to think our military does. Might doesn’t make right and never has, but that doesn’t stop us from blowing over a half trillion a year on “defense”. America certainly has alot of great points, but bragging is not one of em. What we spend just on “education” should make us the smartest people in the world, yet we destroy constantly.

If the USA really is the best country in the world, fake pride has been bringing it down to a shameful depth of faulty intelligence, and we don’t even know it. It’s not too late, the fix (according to me ) is really simple, stop thinking we know it all and realise we don’t. Using violence instead of real logic is a really good indication, the most intelligent men in history realized that their reasoning was more than sound. Those are the smart ones, the ones who really knew that reason was truth. Christ, Gandhi, Martin Luther King didn’t just think they knew that non-violence was key, yet we keep trying to justify the use of force like we think we know. Fact is, if you think you know, that just proves you don’t.  Of course do not take my word for it, knowing is definitely not believing!
